Yet Con Chicken Rice & Restaurant (逸群鳮飯餐室)

You can never be considered a true Hainanese Chicken Rice lover if you have not visited Yet Con.

Founded in 1940, Yet Con is believed to be one of the pioneer Hainanese Chicken Rice stall in Singapore. Just based on the interior of their restaurants, it definitely make diners feel that they are back in their grandparents’ era.

The taste and texture of the chicken truly reflects the history of the stall (be warned); unlike the usual practice of soaking the chicken in cold water, Yet Con insists on keeping their decades old traditional recipe till this date. Some would claimed the meat and skin are a little dry and especially the taste, being too strong (Strong chicken taste, if you know what we mean)
