JEW KIT was founded by Mr Teo Jew Kit which origin from Authentic Hainanese, he started a small stall to serve Hainanese Chicken Rice in 1992.

Jew Kit, founded in 1992 by a Hainanese, Mr Teo Jew Kit, with a simple aim of serving Authentic Hainanese Chicken Rice. Being around for almost 3 decades, Jew Kit has became one of the renowned Hainanese Chicken Rice stall in Singapore, with 4 outlets islandwide.

Hainanese Chicken Rice all began when early settlers from Hainan, who acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience during their working days in kitchen, started infusing their preference into the cuisine. The steamed chicken (an humble dish), was an important staple during Chinese Lunar New Year. “Ji”, the Chinese pronunciation for the word, Chicken, also a homophone for prosperity, is the reason what makes this particular dish an all time favourite even this this day.

Jew Kit’s mission is to create a great food experience for all their customers, hence they are constantly challenging themselves in creating new innovative yet classic dishes to satisfy their customers ever changing palates, to complement Jew Kit’s Hainanese Chicken Rice.

Maintaining food consistency and freshness is part of Jew Kit’s core belief to better serve their customers.
