Pow Sing was founded in 1983, by Mr Steven Tan and Mr Lee Chin Soo, with a simple mission of sharing the true authentic taste of “Hainanese” with Singaporean.
Today, Pow Sing Restaurant is more than than just Hainanese Chicken Rice, but a popular neighbourhood restaurant that serves local favourites such as, curry fish head, nonya delicacies and a wide variety of zi char style dishes.
Their famous Hainanese Chicken Rice is tender and drenched with light sauce. The rice itself has nice light golden colour, which is not oily but absolutely fragrant. The sweet tangy, chilli sauce complement perfectly with the whole dish!
