Wee Nam Kee, probably one of the more prominent the local Hainanese Chicken Rice brand that can be seen at other parts of asia. Wee Nam Kee currently has outlets in Singapore, Philippines, Japan and Korea.
In 1989, the late Mr Wee Too Ouut purchased a chicken rice stall from a friend at $100,000, with the intention to sell it for profit after a few years.
